ANNOUNCING THE MERGER OF O2 LACROSSE AND HUDSON VALLEY EXPRESS LACROSSE
We are proud to announce that O2 Lacrosse will be merging with Hudson Valley Express Lacrosse. This is a very exciting event for both clubs, our coaches and our lacrosse families. Our greatest asset has always been our players and by joining forces we have taken a huge step forward in delivering our shared vision to be the preeminent lacrosse training and travel program in the Northern New Jersey/Southern New York Region.
Though we will now operate as one club, the O2 Lacrosse leadership team of Brendan Gorman, Mark Young, John O’Hara , Bruce Pieri and Larry Ayers will continue to deliver the same high-quality training, performance and experiences you have come to expect from our club.
Our merger will create a more comprehensive offering and access for our players leveraging the resources of both, O2 Lacrosse and Hudson Valley Express, including collegiate recruiting, recruiting events, regional and premiere traveling teams, camps, clinics and tournaments.
Hudson Valley Express was founded in 2006 and currently based in Warwick, NY. With travel teams from 4th-11th grade, they have 14 coaches that assist in the development of the student/athletes playing fall and summer travel lacrosse. There are 140 players covering Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester Countues in New York and Sussex County in New Jersey.
O2 Lacrosse is a year-round lacrosse training program that helps players of all ages hone their skills and work with professional players on a consistent basis at tournaments, summer camps and on off-season teams. O2 Lacrosse currently hosts travel teams at both the youth and high school levels.
This is a merger of two highly compatible programs. Our clubs have worked together often in the past and have developed a deep mutual respect. We hold similar values and philosophies on lacrosse training. In short, our mission is to maximize player potential and fall in love with the game. We measure our success by the success of our players, both on and off the field.
Please join us as we look forward to building our national reputation as the North East’s preeminent lacrosse club and developing the next generation of student athletes.
